Prerequisites

The vehicle must be registered or registered in Hamburg.

Documents required

• a valid identity card or an electronic residence permit (eAT) or passport with current confirmation of registration
• Registration Certificate Part I (Vehicle Registration Document)
• The appointment confirmation

If an authorized representative submits the application on your behalf, in addition:

• The power of attorney with the legible color copy of the principal's ID card
• The authorized representative's ID card in the original

Procedure

Appointment booking

1. Visit the website to book an appointment (see link below)
2. Select the service group: approval, private customers
3. Select the service: Registration of technical changes
4. Use location selection to display appointments at a specific location
5. Use the date picker to find the next available date regardless of your location
6. Select a free appointment (date and time) in the calendar displayed
7. Enter your name and email address to book.

You will then receive a confirmation of the appointment. Please bring this with you to the appointment.

Fees

The fees amount to approx. 11 EUR. The exact amount of the fee can only be determined on site by submitting the complete documents. The basis for the fee level is the fee schedule for measures in road traffic (GebOSt).
